Our Story
The story of Davis Family Office is the story of how two young Bahamians became a team. With their decision to share their lives, Theodore Davis and Shantelle Seymour also shared their unique entrepreneurial strengths, their personal insights and their overwhelming commitment to building a life together on their own terms. They were both dedicated to their individual success as business owners, but when they began to build together, they found that they could craft a new vision for their future that could impact their family for generations to come.
Decades of sacrifice, strategic investment and hard work later, their teamwork has yielded numerous businesses, including the legacy real estate development company that is Davis Family Office.
With the establishment of DFO, in June 2020, Theodore and Shantelle completed a generational transition long envisioned, installing their three children, Theodore, Thavon and Tashonta Davis as primary custodians of the family’s shared business interests. Today, Davis Family Office operates as a family-owned, privately held company under the stewardship of the Davis children, who serve as the Company’s primary shareholders, directors and officers.
Mindful of their parents's sacrifices, they look forward to building on what they have accomplished over the years. Their immediate focus is to grow the Company’s existing portfolio in Nassau, Bahamas. Their future focus is to launch developments across the Bahamas and internationally under the guidance of their parents as limited partners and principal advisors.
