Davis Family Office, Ltd. has launched the development of The Builder’s Block, a purpose-built commercial and industrial complex on Cowpen Road that will house D5 Structural Supply, the Company's forthcoming building supplies and hardware subsidiary.

(‘DFO’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce the official groundbreaking of its latest real estate venture: The Builder’s Block, a purpose-built, mixed-use commercial and industrial development on Cowpen Road. Scheduled for phased completion in Summer 2026, the project represents a significant step forward in DFO’s continued growth and strategic diversification.
Spanning approximately 6,400 square feet of commercial space and 16,800 square feet of warehouse and storage capacity, The Builder’s Block is conceived as a centralized hub for the building supply sector. The development will feature a mix of specialized vendors offering a broad range of construction-related goods and services, with an emphasis on accessibility, reliability and trade-focused convenience.
DFO—through its newly formed subsidiary, D5 Structural Supply—will operate a dedicated hardware and building supplies outlet, serving as the anchor tenant of the complex. D5 will embody the Company’s commitment to quality and integrity in construction—standards it aims to advance across the industry.
D5 will occupy 1,600 square feet of commercial frontage and 8,400 square feet of warehouse space in Phase I, offering a curated selection of core structural materials and everyday construction essentials. These will include plywood, lumber, cement, lime, sand, rock, blocks, pipes, rebar, drywall, fasteners, fittings, small tools and related accessories.
The store’s inventory will be sourced through DFO’s established global supplier network, leveraging direct relationships and consolidated procurement strategies to deliver competitive pricing and dependable product availability—benefits to be passed on to the customer.

Beyond D5, The Builder’s Block will welcome a complementary mix of independent retailers specializing in key supply categories. Targeted tenants include specialty plumbing and electrical suppliers, a paint depot, an HVAC distributor and an outlet dedicated to designer fittings and finishes. DFO envisions The Builder’s Block as a one-stop shop for builders, developers and do-it-yourselfers—anchored by a curated mix of suppliers offering everything needed to get projects off the ground and across the finish line.
The development will proceed in two phases. Phase I, now underway, includes the full buildout of the commercial space along with 8,400 square feet of warehouse capacity. An additional 8,400 square feet of storage space will be added in Phase II.
Preliminary groundworks have commenced, with vertical construction expected to begin in Fall 2025. D5 will initiate preliminary sales and market testing before year-end 2025.
