Davis Family Office Strengthens Leadership Team to Support Strategic Growth

17 Sept 2025

Davis Family Office, Ltd. strengthens its leadership team with key appointments across its core functional areas to support the Company’s next chapter.

Nassau, The Bahamas (17 September 2025) Davis Family Office, Ltd. (‘DFO’ or ‘the Company’) today announced  key organizational changes as it sharpens its internal structure and builds capacity for long-term growth across its expanding platform. The reorganization follows a period of significant change at DFO, including a strategic partnership with Wilson Community Partners, the phased completion of Ivory Plaza at Carmichael Road West, the launch of The Builder’s Block development and the announcement of D5 Structural Supply, the Company’s forthcoming hardware and building supplies retail outlet.

As part of this realignment, the Company has appointed three rising professionals to leadership roles across its three core functional areas: administration, operations and growth.

Aaliyah M. T. Smith, 24, who has served as Executive Assistant for three years, has been promoted to Administrative Lead - Team and Office Management. In her expanded role, she will oversee the internal systems and workflows that support the DFO’s day-to-day operations—coordinating internal initiatives, managing administrative platforms and fostering team cohesion.

Rumalo K. Ellis, 26, transitions into the full-time role of Operations Lead – Property Management after previously serving part-time as Special Projects Coordinator. He now assumes responsibility for the daily management of the Company’s real estate portfolio, which includes more than 50 residential and commercial rental units across New Providence. His portfolio includes the recently completed Ivory Plazas at Yamacraw Hill Road and Carmichael Road West as well as legacy holdings under the Family’s long-term ownership. Rumalo will also oversee property management operations for DFO’s upcoming developments, including The Builder’s Block, the Company’s commercial and industrial complex currently under construction on Cowpen Road.

Abigail Trotman, 31, joins the Company as Strategy Lead – New Business Development. With more than ten years of combined experience across real estate and banking, she brings a notable track record of  systems development and strategic execution. She will immediately lead the buildout and launch of D5 Structural Supply, after which, she will assume a broader mandate to identify, shape and drive new growth opportunities beyond the Company’s core real estate holdings.

“These changes are a reflection of our long-term commitment to building a business of consequence that leverages and reinforces the unique power and potential of young people,” said Thavon T. Davis, 31, President and CEO of Davis Family Office. “We believe deeply in the capacity of young Bahamians to lead with vision, build with discipline and execute with intensity. This new structure gives our leaders room to grow, take ownership and help shape a company that reflects those values.”

DFO continues to advance a diversified growth strategy rooted in real estate. With this refined structure and revitalized leadership team, Davis Family Office is well-positioned for its next chapter.
