Thavon T. Davis, former Executive Chair and acting CEO, officially appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Davis Family Office, Ltd.
Nassau, The Bahamas (01 October 2022) Davis Family Office, Ltd. (‘DFO’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce the official appointment of Thavon T. Davis as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Thavon, who previously served as Executive Chair of the Company from June 2020 until assuming the position of acting CEO on 01 August 2022, brings with him a wealth of knowledge and over a decade of entrepreneurial experience.
As CEO, Thavon will assume principal responsibility for the ongoing operations and growth of the Company including oversight of its administrative, financial and risk management functions and development and execution of its operating and investment strategies. The Davis Family Office portfolio includes 33 residential units, 16 commercial units, a 17-unit coworking space and an extensive reserve of land holdings primed for development.
Thavon is a family member of the Company’s principals and looks to leverage his unique position to supercharge the growth of the Company. In response to the appointment, he said, “I am thrilled to formally assume this role at DFO. I have a deep respect for what my family has built over the past 20+ years and am excited to officially shoulder the responsibility of moving the Company forward."
Thavon plans to focus on foundation, expansion, and legacy building. "During my tenure," he says, "I look forward to working collaboratively with my family to aggressively expand our asset portfolio, while structuring a lean yet scalable operating model and formalizing a progressive governance structure that lays the foundation for the Company’s sustained growth.”
Thavon will maintain his role as Chair of the Board of Directors, in a position newly retitled to President.
